Prior to selecting an electronic shipping / parcel scale, you need to determine if your state requires a NTEP Approved, Legal For Trade shipping scale. Typically if you are a counter service charging your customer's by weight the shipping scale needs to be Legal for Trade -- Buying & Selling -- NTEP.
