Troemner's new
Stainless Steel Heavy Capacity Weights are an ideal solution for
the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, nuclear and fine chemical industries.
Manufactured from stainless steel, these weights are highly stable
and resistant to corrosion ideal for clean rooms, wash down
environments and as a replacement for your cast iron weights. Troemner's
Stainless Steel Heavy Capacity Weights can be supplied with Troemner's
NIST Traceable Certificate up to 2000 kg (5000 lbs) or with a NVLAP
Weight Calibration Certificate for weights up to 1000 kg (3000 lbs).
Construction and General

Troemner's
Stainless Steel Heavy Capacity Weights are manufactured from a stainless
steel alloy which possesses closely controlled density, low magnetic
susceptibility, good stability and resistance to corrosion and handling
damage. Troemner's Stainless Steel Heavy Capacity Weights range
from 20 kg / 75 lb and up, are cylindrical in shape, have a flat
even top surface and have a secure eyebolt on the top center of
the weight to allow them be moved easily with various types of industrial
equipment. All of Troemner's Stainless Steel Heavy Capacity Weights
have two-piece construction that allows the weights to be adjusted.
Within each weight there is a cavity, below the eye bolt, that is
filled with adjusting material, typically the same material from
which the weight is made. This cavity is sealed during the production
process to ensure the stability of the weight.

NVLAP
Weight Calibration Certificate is a detailed, multi-page weight
certificate designed to meet all of your ISO (including ISO/IEC
17025), FDA, GMP, GLP, DOD, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, and nuclear requirements.
The NIST-administered National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation
Program (NVLAP Lab Code 105013-0) approves all procedures for
this detailed weight certificate. The measurement process follows
the recommendations of NIST Handbook 145.

Weight Certificate |
Traceable
Weight Certificate - designed for those laboratories and companies
that require traceability, but do not need to meet any stringent
regulatory requirements. In contrast to NVLAP or UKAS calibration
procedures, the Traceable Weight Certificate measurement process
is based on a single standard and utilizes one series of comparisons.

of Accuracy |

weights and weight sets supplied without weight certificates
come with Troemner's Statement of Accuracy which provides the
nominal value, type of weight, material / density and weight
class. Note: There is no NIST traceability supplied with
this statement. The Statement of Accuracy is not suitable for
quality or regulatory requirements. Troemner's Statement of
Accuracy is only available with the purchase of new weights.
Troemner's Brass Weights are not supplied with a Statement of
Accuracy.
